Standardin soveltamisala en This European Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for the construction, safety, classification and marking of non-domestic gas-fired overhead radiant tube heaters incorporated into a multi-burner system (called system E and referred to in the body of the text as the ’system’) with each burner unit under the control of an automatic burner control system.
This standard is applicable to Type B52 and Type B53 systems (see 4.3) intended for use in other than domestic dwellings, in which the supply of combustion air and/or the evacuation of the products of combustion is achieved by mechanical means.
This standard is not applicable to:
a) systems designed for use in domestic dwelling;
b) outdoor systems;
c) systems of heat input in excess of 120 kW (based on the net calorific value of the appropriate reference test gas);
d) systems having a draught diverter between the exhaust fan and the flue duct;
e) systems having fully pre-mixed gas and air burners in which:
1) either the gas and all the combustion air are brought together just before the level of the combustion zone; or
2) the pre-mixing of the gas and all combustion air is carried out in a part of the burner upstream of the combustion zone;
f) systems that are designed for continuous condensation within the flue system under normal operating conditions;
g) systems having combustion products evacuation ducts that are non-metallic.
This standard is applicable to systems which are intended to be type tested. It also includes requirements concerning the evaluation of conformity, including factory production control, but these requirements only apply to POCEDs and their associated terminals.
NOTE Requirements for systems which are not intended to be type tested would need to be subject to further consideration.
Requirements concerning the rational use of energy have not been included in this European Standard.

La présente norme est applicable aux systèmes qui sont destinés à subir des essais de type.

This standard is applicable only to such systems that have fully pre-mixed gas/air burners.

Standardin soveltamisala en This European Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for the safety and efficiency of domestic gas-fired air heaters with (an) atmospheric burner(s) and without a fan to assist the transportation of combustion air and/or flue gases, hereafter referred to as ”appliances”.
This European Standard applies to Type B11, B11AS, B11BS, B41, B41AS, B41BS C11, C21, C31 and C41 appliances with an input not exceeding 70 kW (net cv-basis), intended primarily for use in single unit residential dwellings. Provision of the heated air may be by means of ducting.
This European Standard does not apply to:
a) appliances of the condensing type;
b) appliances for outdoor installation;
c) dual purpose air conditioning appliances (heating and cooling);
d) appliances where the air is heated by an intermediate fluid;
e) appliances with forced draught burners;
f) appliances fitted with a manual or automatic means of adjusting the combustion air supply or the combustion products evacuation (including flue dampers);
g) portable or transportable forced convection appliances;
h) appliances having multiple heating units with a single draught diverter;
i) appliances fitted with more than one flue outlet;
j) C21 and C41 appliances for 3rd family gases;
NOTE For C41 appliances, see all requirements and test methods that are valid for C21 appliances, unless otherwise stated.

Standardin soveltamisala fi Tämä eurooppalainen standardi esittää vaatimukset muuraussiteille, kiinnitysvanteille, palkkikannakkeille ja konsoleille, joita käytetään yhdistämään muurattuja rakenteita sekä yhdistämään muurattuja rakenteita muihin rakenne- ja rakennusosiin, mukaan lukien seinät, lattiat, palkit ja pilarit. Kun ankkurit tai kiinnikkeet toimitetaan tai spesifioidaan osana täydentävää tuotetta, tällöin tämän standardin vaatimukset koskevat koko tuotekokonaisuutta.
Tämä standardi ei käsittele seuraavia asioita:

Standardin soveltamisala en This European Standard specifies requirements for wall ties, tension straps, hangers and brackets for interconnecting masonry and for connecting masonry to other parts of works and buildings including walls, floors, beams, and columns. Where anchors or fasteners are supplied or specified as part of an ancillary component, the requirements including performance requirements apply to the complete product.
This European Standard is not applicable to:
a) anchors and fasteners other than as part of an ancillary component;
b) shelf angles;
c) wall starter plates for tying into existing walls;
d) products formed from materials other than:
1) austenitic stainless steel (molybdenum chrome nickel alloys or chrome nickel alloys);
2) austenitic ferritic stainless steel;
3) ferritic stainless steel;
4) copper;
5) phosphor bronze;

Specification for ancillary components for masonry. Part 2: Lintels

Standardin soveltamisala fi Tässä eurooppalaisessa standardissa määritellään vaatimukset esivalmistetuille ylityspalkeille, joiden jänneväli on korkeintaan 4,5 m ja jotka on valmistettu teräksestä, höyrykarkaistusta kevytbetonista, keinokivestä, betonista, poltetuista tiilistä, kalkkihiekkatiilistä ja -harkoista, luonnonkivimuurauskappaleista tai näiden materiaalien yhdistelmästä. Betoni- tai teräspalkit, jotka kuuluvat standardien EN 1090-1, EN 12602 tai EN 13225 soveltamisalaan, eivät kuulu tämän standardin soveltamisalaan.1
Esivalmistetut ylityspalkit voivat olla joko valmiina toimitettuja ylityspalkkeja tai pelkästään liittorakenteisten ylityspalkkien esivalmistettuja osia.
Tämän eurooppalaisen standardin soveltamisalaan eivät kuulu:
a) kokonaan työmaalla valmistetut ylityspalkit
b) ylityspalkit, joiden vetorasitusta vastaanottavat osat valmistetaan työmaalla
c) puutavarasta valmistetut ylityspalkit
d) luonnonkivestä valmistetut raudoittamattomat ylityspalkit.
Tämän standardin soveltamisalaan eivät kuulu muurattujen seinien aukkojen ylityksiin tarkoitetut elementit, joiden vapaa aukko on yli 4,5 m, tai aukkojen ylityksiin tarkoitetut elementit, jotka on tarkoitettu käytettäviksi itsenäisesti kantavina rakenteellisina rakennusosina (esim. palkit).
Standardin soveltamisala en This European Standard specifies requirements for prefabricated lintels for maximum spans of 4,5 m and made from steel, autoclaved aerated concrete, manufactured stone, concrete, fired clay units, calcium silicate units, natural stone units, or a combination of these materials. Concrete and steel beams conforming to EN 1090-1, EN 12602 and EN 13225, as appropriate, are not covered by this standard.
Prefabricated lintels can be either complete lintels or the prefabricated part of a composite lintel.
This European Standard is not applicable to:
a) lintels completely made on site;
b) lintels of which the tensile parts are made on site;
c) timber lintels;
d) natural stone lintels, not reinforced.
Linear components spanning clear openings greater than 4,5 m in masonry walls and linear components intended for use independently in a structural role (e.g. beams) are not covered by this standard.
